Owen is home!

Owen was released from the hospital yesterday, and seems to be doing better after the great hospital care and breathing treatments he was given. He still sleeps more than half the day, which I don't mind, actually. Since I am sick as well, it is nice to have a sleepy baby. Thank you for all your support, and your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully that will be his last visit to the hospital for awhile.

I'm so glad he's doing so much better and that he's home! That has got to be a relief. We try to keep our baby inside as much as possible to avoid exposing her to RSV; but sometimes no matter what you do, they will still get it. I can only imagine how hard that would be to go through that. I'm really glad that he was able to recover so quickly and that he's doing so well now. What were those tubes that were taped to the side of his head for?

He's a really cute baby by the way! He even looks cute when he's not feeling well. :)

That was his I.V. They tried to get it in both hands and feet, and couldn't. So they went for the head. He didn't like it too much, obviously. He recovered quite quickly, some babies are in the hospital for weeks. I feel lucky he is bouncing back so fast.
By the way, I really enjoy reading your blog, you have a great sense of humor.

That's neat that you look to the upside of things, Kristin. That's a good way to live! We're glad he's doing better.
