Owen is home!

Owen was released from the hospital yesterday, and seems to be doing better after the great hospital care and breathing treatments he was given. He still sleeps more than half the day, which I don't mind, actually. Since I am sick as well, it is nice to have a sleepy baby. Thank you for all your support, and your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully that will be his last visit to the hospital for awhile.

Poor Sweet Baby!

Our little Owen isn't doing so well. Blake got sick with a cold over the break, and we think that Owen got it from him, or possibly somewhere else, but either way, he got a cold. We took him to the doctor on Friday, but she said to just watch him and see if it gets any better. Unfortunately, he got worse, so Monday we took him back into the doctor, and she took chest x-rays and said it looked like he was coming down with pneumonia. So we checked him into the hospital, and it turns out he has RSV which caused the pneumonia. Poor kid! He seems to be doing a little better. He may get to go home tomorrow if he starts eating better, so we'll see. Sorry about the video, it was taken with Blake's laptop.

Snow Day!!!

For those of you that don't know, Eugene is pretty close to sea level. It always rains but doesn't snow often. This morning we were surprised to wake up to snow. When it does snow, all the kids in the apartment complex go out to play in it, even if it's only an inch. Parker was really happy when I took him out in the morning to go to the bathroom. Since they get no snow here, there are no plows, salt, gravel, or snowblowers. I joked to myself that they might cancel church. Since we only had about 2 inches I thought I was just kidding. Sure enough we got a call from the elders quorum letting us know church was canceled. I was told that when it snows in Eugene no one goes anywhere. I never imagined church would be canceled. Here are some picture for ya'll.

Our Humble Abode

So we just finished painting our house this weekend, so I thought I'd post some pictures.

First is our kitchen, our bright orange kitchen. It's a little more bold than we wanted, but it has grown on us.

And this is Owen's room. I am really happy with how it turned out. Now if I can keep it looking this clean and cute.

Super Cute

My brother took some pictures of Owen in his studio and they turned out really good. Here are a couple of samples from the set. We love how they turned out.
